In A City Like Ours it’s easy to dismiss things. We’re a tiny speck on a tiny island at the most easterly tip of North America. There’s so much we walk past on a daily basis: signs for businesses that won’t be there in two weeks from now, people who will move on and forget where they came from — and all of it will one day be lost.

When I’m not in my studio or sitting behind a computer screen I am out walking, with a camera in one hand and my hungry eyes looking for the little inanities that hopefully will one day be people’s “remember when’s”.

I guess I am creating a visual record of my time and space with this project. Below are a few examples of the types of work you’ll find over at this project’s permanent home.
